Religion

Judaism is the perpetual religion vs culture. I was a participant and student of Religion at the University of Delaware and the University of Chicago Divinity School. Course work complemented Shabbat Dinners and trips to Israel. Tai Chi and Meditation took their place.

From stories to practices, ideas and belief, the intellect battles the emotion. Individuality questions its place within society’s expectations. Retreating inward, acting outwardly. Reflection and taking deep breaths. Rhythmic motions.

It’s interesting what happens when it’s not forced on you. Perhaps merely an object of reflection.

Posturing on different levels.

Questions without answers.

And sometimes faith.
