The Anthropomorphic Cabinet by Salvador Dali

Man supported by one hand
extending out with the other
as if to say no more
I can’t take it
I can’t hold it in
my insides are spilling
out clothes strewn
hair toppled over
legs
hanging over
feet dangling
the woman out in the sunshine
is she staring
or passing by
or walking away
or insignificant
except for the fact
that she paints a relief
to this otherwise
solitary exposition
on the canvas?
