A Mood by George MacDonald

I am moody
jumping around like a fire-fly
the thought occurring
why do I pulsate out-of-time with the rest
that is silver
and gold?

I’ve filled my wine a countless times told
I’ve grown up grown old
my soul has grown pale

perchance tonight will be the instance
for a Divine 40 Day storm?
