I studied philosophy at the University of Delaware as an undergraduate and at the University of Chicago as a graduate student. I truly did not know what I was studying or why I was studying it.

In the West, we think of Plato and Aristotle. We think of Cicero and the Romans. We think of Descartes. We think of Freud.

In the East, we think of Buddha and Daoism, Confucius and Zen.

In Europe, we think of Marxism and the Enlightenment.

In America, we think of Civil Disobedience.

Thinking about thought itself. Talking about freedom and speech.

Time well spent… well, spent.
